Photography with purpose

I aspire to capture moments of the Lord’s most valuable creation, while they live out His purpose for them.

I’m Ineke de Jong, the photographer behind Image Bearers. I capture weddings, engagements, families and events across the Cape Winelands and Garden Route — unhurried, honest photographs of people being themselves.

My approach is simple: disappearing into a day and watching closely to catch everything that matters. The photographs that last are rarely the posed ones — they’re the glance across a room, the laugh nobody planned, the hand reaching for another.
